Day 1 – Arrival, Town & Easy Lakes
Drive in from Edmonton (about 4 hours) or Calgary (longer via the Icefields Parkway if you want scenery).
Head first to the Jasper Information Centre for the latest updates. Spend the afternoon walking the town and supporting local businesses that are rebuilding. The Jasper-Yellowhead Museum and Archives is a good stop if you want some local history.
Late afternoon and evening: Pyramid Lake and Pyramid Island, plus nearby Patricia Lake. These are easy, open, and perfect for the first evening of any solid plan. Sunset reflections here are excellent and wildlife is often active at dusk.
Day 2 – Maligne Valley

Day 3 – SkyTram, Waterfalls & Valley of the Five Lakes
Morning: Ride the Jasper SkyTram for big views. Book tickets in advance.
Midday: Athabasca Falls (quick, powerful, fully open). Add Sunwapta Falls if you have time.
