Location and Contact
The Wetaskiwin Bottle Depot is located at 3810 48 Street, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A 2J2. You can reach them at (780) 352-7969.
It’s the main spot in town for returning refundable beverage containers – pop bottles, juice boxes, milk jugs, and similar items that carry a deposit under Alberta’s program. Most people find the process straightforward once you’re there.
What to Expect
Customers often mention the staff are quick and accurate, especially if you’ve already sorted and counted your containers. Arriving during the regular weekday or Saturday window keeps things simple. If you’re bringing a large load, earlier in the day tends to be quieter.
The bottle depot is separate from the Wetaskiwin Recycling Centre on 50 Street. The recycling centre handles other materials like cardboard and paper on a self-serve basis and runs on its own schedule. For landfill and broader waste disposal information in the area, see our guide to the Wetaskiwin landfill.
If the Wetaskiwin location doesn’t line up with your timing, the Millet Bottle Depot is the next closest option for many people in the area looking for bottle return hours nearby. You can also check hours at other Alberta locations such as the Drumheller bottle depot.
